There are a number of COVID 19 grants available to support businesses through the various periods of “lockdown” / local restrictions from 5 November last year.
Even if you are self-employed or operate your business from home, there is likely to be a grant scheme that can provide you with essential financial support to help you through these difficult times. In fact, the Council has prioritised such businesses, as they would have fallen through the net of other financial assistance schemes.

Applying now is as important as ever as the Government have announced an application deadline of 31 March 2021 for grant schemes covering earlier periods.
Don’t miss out, as you are likely to be eligible for support where you have been ordered to close, or have been able to remain open but have been severely impacted by the national / local restrictions. The application process has been made as simple as possible and should not take long to complete - so 15 to 20 minutes of your time may enable the Council to pay you a grant from £1,000 to several thousands of pounds.
